Earlier this month, a mobility case study was presented by Orcoda’s Simon Anthonisz (COO) and Terry O’Toole (CEO of TransitCare) at The 2022 VTCTA Community Transport Conference.
The Mobility case study was prepared to highlight how TransitCare, with the use of Orcoda Logistics Management System (OLMS), digitally transformed their own service in Townsville, and in-turn created much greater accessibility to transport by nearly 40,000 more trips per year!
The theme for this year’s conference was Sustainability, and our case study demonstrated how Orcoda’s optimisation of transport services was able to cut CO2 emissions by over 30% in 2021 for TransitCare in Townsville, QLD. More trips per vehicle = less kilometres travelled = less CO2 emissions
Terry and Simon presented the case study and shared ‘how’ this was achieved with 80 attendees from Victorian and Tasmanian Community Transport organisations.
