Business Opportunity
Delivering up to 5000 people movements per day for our Client’s workforce and their subcontractor workforce to and from several remote locations simultaneously. We needed to ensure that we achieved maximum value from workforce mobilisation assets, reduced compliance risk and could rapidly respond to changes as they occurred both on and off-site.

Solution
Through the implementation of Contractor360, the Resource People Logistics division became the central hub for managing the Client’s project schedule and workforce movements. By automating and coordinating mobilisation processes, the Client gained real-time visibility and control across all systems through a single digital interface. Orcoda’s platform integrated data from previously disconnected systems, replacing spreadsheets and minimising manual input. With planning gates in place, the Client could accurately forecast and maximise utilisation of transport and accommodation assets up to 30 days in advance.
Outcome
Orcoda helped the Client achieve significant operational improvements, including reduced booking errors, optimised travel asset utilisation, and enhanced worksite productivity through real-time data synchronisation and early identification of issues. Cost savings were realised through better vendor pricing, consolidated invoicing, and the flexibility to adjust travel plans up to three days in advance without penalties. Improved communication between the Client and vendors increased efficiency, while live travel data and automated manifests ensured minimal disruption to schedules. These changes also led to better resource allocation, reduced risk, and notable improvements in worker behaviour, satisfaction, and productivity.
