The webinar, led by Orcoda’s Head of Transport Technology, Simon Anthonisz, delved into the pressing issues facing the industry, from rising asset costs to the complexities of manual scheduling and the push towards sustainability. During the live session, attendees participated in polls that underscored the industry’s current landscape:

  • 50% of participants identified rising fuel and asset costs as their biggest operational challenge.
  • 25% pointed to manual scheduling and paperwork, and another 25% highlighted meeting sustainability targets as significant hurdles.

When asked about their key focus area for increasing efficiency, the response was clear:

  • An overwhelming 63% are concentrating on optimising asset utilisation.
  • 27% are focused on real-time asset tracking and monitoring.
